Silver Whisper

Silver Whisper offers the comforts and amenities of a larger luxury vessel within the intimate setting of a boutique ship. Built in 2001 and refreshed in 2024, this Silversea vessel welcomes just 392 guests, creating an atmosphere where attentive service, spacious surroundings, and familiar faces quickly become part of the voyage. Her understated interiors and manageable proportions are especially well suited to guests who prefer traditional elegance over a more elaborate resort-style experience.

There is an easy rhythm to life onboard. The Observation Library provides a quiet place to read while watching the horizon, and the Panorama Lounge offers broad views during the day before becoming a relaxed setting for cocktails and evening music. Guests can also spend time beside the pool, visit the spa and fitness center, or enjoy the changing scenery from Silver Whisper’s open decks.

Four restaurants give dining a pleasing sense of variety. The Restaurant combines familiar favorites with dishes influenced by the regions visited, while La Terrazza serves relaxed breakfasts and lunches before transforming into an Italian restaurant after sunset. La Dame presents an intimate French fine-dining experience, and The Grill pairs casual meals with ocean views beside the pool. Open seating and in-suite dining allow meals to follow the natural pace of each day.

Evenings remain polished without feeling overly structured. The multi-tiered Show Lounge hosts full-scale productions, guest performers, lectures, and destination presentations. Elsewhere, guests may enjoy piano music, casino gaming, cocktails, or a quieter nightcap in one of the ship’s intimate lounges.

Every accommodation aboard Silver Whisper is an ocean-view suite with dedicated butler service. Vista Suites feature large picture windows, while Classic, Superior, and Deluxe Veranda Suites add private outdoor space. Medallion, Silver, Royal, Grand, and Owner’s Suites provide increasingly generous living areas, with select categories offering separate dining spaces and expansive balconies.

Silver Whisper’s smaller size and generous viewing areas are particularly rewarding on voyages through Alaska and Hawaii. In Alaska, guests can watch glaciers, forested mountains, and narrow waterways unfold from the lounges or their private veranda. Pacific journeys toward Hawaii bring warmer seas, volcanic islands, and longer stretches of open ocean into view. Current Silversea schedules include Silver Whisper sailings in both regions.
