Silver Spirit

A dramatic transformation has shaped Silver Spirit into one of the most distinctive ships in the Silversea fleet. Originally launched in 2009, she was lengthened by nearly 50 feet during an ambitious 2018 rebuild and received another comprehensive refurbishment in 2026. Today, the ship welcomes 636 guests across 318 suites, preserving an intimate atmosphere while offering a broader collection of restaurants, lounges, and social spaces than Silversea’s smaller classic vessels.

The latest redesign places a stronger emphasis on destination and culture. S.A.L.T. Kitchen changes its menu to reflect the regions visited, while S.A.L.T. Bar interprets local ingredients and spirits through carefully crafted cocktails. At S.A.L.T. Lab, hands-on classes introduce regional recipes, techniques, and culinary traditions that guests can recreate after returning home.

Silver Spirit’s expanded dining collection gives each evening a noticeably different character. La Terrazza celebrates Italian cuisine, La Dame offers an intimate French experience, and Silver Note pairs small plates with live jazz and blues. Atlantide, Seishin, Indochine, and The Grill add further variety, while the new Riviera concept brings Mediterranean-inspired dishes, seafood, wraps, wine, and spritzes to an open-air poolside setting. Beyond the restaurants, the ship moves comfortably between sociable and quiet spaces. Arts Café offers pastries, light bites, coffee, and tea throughout the day, while Dolce Vita serves as a central gathering place for cocktails and conversation. The Panorama Lounge opens toward the sea, the Observation Library provides a peaceful setting for reading, and the Venetian Lounge hosts performances, films, lectures, and destination presentations.

Every accommodation is an ocean-view suite with dedicated butler service. Vista Suites feature large picture windows, while veranda categories add private outdoor space for enjoying port arrivals and scenic sailing. Silver, Royal, Grand, and Owner’s Suites provide larger residential layouts, separate living areas, and generous verandas suited to longer voyages.

Silver Spirit is particularly well matched to the coastal cities and island landscapes of the Mediterranean, along with summer journeys through Scandinavia. Mediterranean sailings may connect Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece, and neighboring shores, while northern itineraries bring Norwegian fjords, Baltic capitals, and long daylight hours into view.
