Silver Nova

Bold architecture gives Silver Nova a character unlike any earlier Silversea ship. Debuting in 2023 as the first vessel in the Nova Class, she carries 728 guests while using an asymmetrical, horizontal design to open more of the ship toward the sea. Glass-fronted balconies, panoramic lounges, and outward-facing public spaces create uninterrupted views that shift naturally from ocean to coastline as the voyage progresses.

The pool deck is one of the clearest expressions of this design. Positioned along the side of the ship rather than enclosed at its center, the space features the largest pool in the Silversea fleet, generous sun decks across two levels, and broad views beyond the water. Nearby, The Dusk Bar offers an open-air setting for cocktails as the ship leaves port or the sun begins to fade.

Cuisine remains central to the onboard experience. S.A.L.T. Kitchen changes its menus to reflect the regions visited, while S.A.L.T. Lab hosts hands-on cooking classes before transforming into the intimate S.A.L.T. Chef’s Table in the evening. Atlantide, La Terrazza, La Dame, Kaiseki, Silver Note, and The Marquee add distinctly different settings for steaks, seafood, Italian cuisine, French tasting menus, Japanese dishes, live jazz, and relaxed outdoor dining.

Beyond the restaurants, Silver Nova offers several places that feel closely connected to the destination. The Panorama Lounge opens toward an outdoor terrace, the Observation Lounge pairs sea views with a quiet library setting, and Arts Café combines artwork, coffee, pastries, and relaxed conversation. The Venetian Lounge hosts production shows, music, films, and presentations, while Otium Spa provides a quieter retreat with Roman-inspired thermal experiences.

All accommodations are ocean-view suites with butler service, and nearly every category includes a private glass balcony. Silver Nova introduced several new layouts, including the Master and Signature Suites, while the expansive Otium Suite offers approximately 1,324 square feet and dramatic 270-degree views. Across the ship, warm materials, residential furnishings, and large windows create an atmosphere Silversea describes as understated or “whispered” luxury.

Silver Nova’s open-air spaces are particularly rewarding during voyages through the Europe and North America. Historic coastlines, island harbors, and tropical departures remain visible from restaurants, lounges, private balconies, and the pool deck, allowing the scenery to stay present even after guests return onboard. Current schedules include Mediterranean sailings between major European ports and Caribbean voyages connecting San Juan and Miami. Silver Nova presents a more open and contemporary interpretation of Silversea’s intimate luxury experience.
