Norwegian Luna

Norwegian Luna brings a brighter, more open-air personality to Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest generation of ships. Debuting in 2026 as a sister ship to Norwegian Aqua, Luna carries 3,565 guests at double occupancy and stretches 1,056 feet from bow to stern. Its Prima Plus design gives more room to outdoor spaces, dining, pools, and entertainment while still keeping the experience centered around freedom and flexibility.

A major centerpiece is the Aqua Slidecoaster, Norwegian’s hybrid roller coaster and waterslide that launches riders through high-speed twists above the ship. Nearby, The Drop sends guests plunging ten stories in a free-fall slide from Deck 18 to Deck 8, while the expanded main pool deck, Kids’ Aqua Park, and Splash Pad keep the upper decks active throughout the day.

Luna also puts unusual emphasis on simply enjoying the ocean. Infinity Beach places infinity pools along both sides of the ship, while Ocean Boulevard wraps around the vessel with restaurants, bars, seating, and panoramic views. Oceanwalk adds a glass walkway over the sea, and La Terrazza creates another quieter outdoor setting for lounging between activities.

Dining continues that sense of variety. Indulge Food Hall brings multiple international cuisines together in one casual setting, while newer concepts such as Sukhothai and the plant-based Planterie sit alongside established Norwegian favorites like Cagney’s Steakhouse. This mix gives the ship both quick, spontaneous options and more polished evenings without relying on one traditional dining routine.

Entertainment carries its own personality as well. Luna features Rocket Man: A Celebration of Elton John, alongside live music, nightlife, interactive venues, and large-scale production spaces. Accommodations range from Inside, Oceanview, and Balcony categories to spacious suites and The Haven by Norwegian, including new multi-bedroom options designed for families and groups.

Norwegian Luna initially focuses on the Caribbean before expanding into North America with seasonal sailings from New York. From Miami, itineraries include eastern and western Caribbean routes with calls such as Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, Roatán, Cozumel, Great Stirrup Cay, and Harvest Caye, while later Bermuda voyages introduce a very different style of coastal escape.

With its high-energy rides, expanded outdoor spaces, infinity pools, distinctive dining, and newer entertainment, Norwegian Luna feels less like a simple follow-up to Aqua and more like a ship designed to keep the day constantly changing from one experience to the next.
