A balance between manageable ship size and modern resort-style amenities has helped Norwegian Gem remain one of Norwegian Cruise Line’s most versatile vessels. Extensive refurbishment projects completed in recent years modernized accommodations, restaurants, pool decks, and entertainment venues while preserving the ship’s approachable and easygoing atmosphere. Norwegian Gem features a large spa complex, numerous specialty dining venues, casino entertainment, family recreation spaces, and a wide variety of lounges suited for both active and relaxed cruise experiences. Its mid-sized design also allows the vessel to operate itineraries unavailable to some of Norwegian’s larger ships.
