Norwegian Epic

Bold in both size and personality, Norwegian Epic was built to deliver an experience that feels anything but ordinary. Debuting in 2010 and refurbished again in 2025, the ship carries approximately 4,070 guests at double occupancy and combines energetic recreation, distinctive entertainment, flexible dining, and a surprisingly broad range of spaces for escaping the action when a slower pace sounds better.

The upper decks are where Norwegian Epic earns much of its playful reputation. Its Aqua Park includes multiple pools, hot tubs, and three multi-level waterslides, including the 200-foot Epic Plunge, a bowl-style tube slide that has become one of the ship’s signature attractions. A towering climbing wall adds another challenge nearby, while adults can retreat to the expanded Vibe Beach Club or spend time at Spice H2O, which shifts from relaxed outdoor lounge by day to a livelier social setting after dark.

Entertainment gives the ship another layer of character. Evenings may include the high-energy choreography of Ballroom Blitz, while Howl at the Moon brings dueling pianos, sing-along favorites, and a more spontaneous late-night atmosphere. Rather than relying on a single headline production, Epic offers different venues and moods throughout the ship, making it easy to move from a theater performance to live music or cocktails without ending the night early.

Dining follows Norwegian Cruise Lines's Freestyle approach, with a large collection of complimentary and specialty restaurants offering everything from casual meals to Italian cuisine, steakhouses, and more elevated evening experiences. With more than 20 dining options listed in the ship’s current guide, there is enough variety to make dining feel like part of the entertainment rather than simply a scheduled stop between activities.

Norwegian Epic also holds an important place in the evolution of The Haven by Norwegian, as it was the first ship in the fleet to debut the private enclave. Today, The Haven includes redesigned suites, an exclusive restaurant, and a private courtyard with its own pool and sundeck. Beyond The Haven, accommodations range from Inside and Balcony staterooms to suites and dedicated Solo Studios with access to the private Studio Lounge.

Its itineraries bring another dimension to the experience, with sailings through the Mediterranean as well as Transatlantic and Caribbean routes depending on the season.
