Norwegian Encore

Norwegian Encore brings together high-energy attractions, panoramic gathering spaces, and a wide range of dining and entertainment aboard one of Norwegian Cruise Line’s Breakaway Plus Class ships. Debuting in 2019, the ship carries nearly 4,000 guests and was designed to offer a resort-style experience where active days, relaxed afternoons, and lively evenings can all unfold under one roof.

Among its most recognizable features is the Encore Speedway, a multi-level racetrack that curves across the upper decks. Guests can also spend time in the Galaxy Pavilion, enjoy the Thermal Suite, or settle into the Observation Lounge, where floor-to-ceiling windows create a quieter setting for taking in the scenery. These contrasting spaces give Encore a broader personality than ships built primarily around one type of onboard experience.

Dining is built around variety and flexibility. Complimentary restaurants are joined by specialty venues serving steakhouse favorites, seafood, Italian cuisine, French-inspired dishes, and other international flavors. The Waterfront extends several dining and lounge spaces toward the sea, giving guests the option to enjoy meals and drinks outdoors while staying connected to the surrounding views.

Entertainment continues well beyond the main theater. Live music, comedy, nightlife, bars, lounges, and interactive activities keep evenings varied, while the spa, adults-only spaces, and quieter observation areas offer an entirely different pace when relaxation is the priority.

Accommodation choices range from Inside, Oceanview, and Balcony staterooms to Club Balcony Suites and The Haven by Norwegian. The Haven provides a more secluded experience within the larger ship, combining premium suites with private areas and personalized services while keeping the ship’s restaurants, entertainment, and attractions close at hand.

Norwegian Encore is particularly well suited to scenic Alaska itineraries and voyages along the Pacific coast, where expansive observation spaces become a major part of the experience. Current and upcoming sailings also include routes connecting ports such as Seattle, Vancouver, Los Angeles, and destinations along the Mexican Riviera. With its mix of adrenaline-filled attractions, ocean-facing spaces, flexible dining, and varied accommodations, Norwegian Encore offers plenty of freedom to shape each day differently.
