Norwegian Aqua

Built to expand on Norwegian Cruise Line’s Prima Class concept, Norwegian Aqua brings more space, new attractions, and a stronger connection to the outdoors aboard one of the line’s newest ships. Debuting in 2025, the approximately 156,300-gross-ton vessel carries 3,565 guests at double occupancy and stretches 1,056 feet in length, creating a contemporary resort-style experience with expansive public areas and a wide variety of ways to dine, relax, and play.

One of Aqua’s signature attractions is the Aqua Slidecoaster, a hybrid roller coaster and waterslide that uses a launch system to propel riders through two twisting courses high above the ship. Beyond the thrill rides, guests can spend time at the Aqua Game Zone, enjoy outdoor recreation, relax at Vibe Beach Club, or explore Ocean Boulevard, where open-air spaces wrap around the ship and bring the ocean closer to everyday life onboard.

Dining adds another distinctive layer to the experience. Norwegian Aqua introduced Sukhothai, Norwegian Cruise Line’s first Thai specialty restaurant, alongside newer concepts such as Swirl Wine Bar and Planterie. These additions join a broad collection of complimentary and specialty restaurants, including the flexible Indulge Food Hall, giving guests everything from casual bites to more elevated evenings without following a traditional fixed dining schedule.

Accommodations range from Inside, Oceanview, and Balcony staterooms to spacious suites and The Haven by Norwegian, the ship-within-a-ship retreat offering premium accommodations and more private spaces. Aqua’s expanded Prima Class design also provides additional room across many outdoor and public areas, helping the ship feel open despite its extensive collection of dining, entertainment, and recreational venues.

Norwegian Aqua is especially well matched to warm-weather escapes, with itineraries focused on the Caribbean and nearby North American cruising regions. Sailings from ports such as Miami and Port Canaveral can combine tropical islands, beach destinations, and calls throughout the eastern and western Caribbean, making the ship itself an important part of the vacation alongside each day ashore.
